She was still tied to the chair, rough rope cutting into her skin and her head pounded with a vicious headache. She looked around the room, trying to make sense of what she was seeing. All the gang members who'd surrounded her were on the floor, some knocked unconscious, others groaning in pain and standing in the middle of it all was Declan and Sophie Sterling.

Georgina, still clouded from the alcohol and fear, made an immediate assumption. She looked at the ropes binding her, at Declan standing there, at the defeated gang members surrounding them. "You!" Georgina spat, "You did this! You tied me up!" Her eyes blazed with renewed betrayal and rage. "It wasn't enough that you cheated on me with her? Now you're what? Kidnapping me? Having your people attack me?" She thrashed against the ropes. "How could you? How could you do this? I trusted you! I defended you! And this is what you really are?

A monster?" Declan opened his mouth to respond but before he could say anything, Sophie beat him to it. She stepped forward with an amused smile playing at her lips. "Oh, sweetheart," Sophie said, in a teasing tone, "You've misunderstood the situation completely. The person who really tied you up wasn't Declan." She paused for effect. "It was Nathan Pierce." Georgina's furious expression faltered. "What?" "Nathan brought you here," Sophie explained. "Nathan bought you drinks until you passed out.

Nathan ordered these gang members to 'take care of you.' And Nathan left you here to be raped and murdered." Georgina stared at her, unable to process what she was hearing. "That's... that's not possible. Nathan was kind. He was interested in me. Those gang members said -" "Those gang members said exactly what Nathan told them to say," Sophie interrupted. "They lied to make you feel safe," Seeing the disbelief in Georgina's face, Sophie grabbed one of the gang members who was conscious but still on the floor. She hauled him up by his collar and dragged him in front of Georgina.

"Tell her," Sophie commanded. "Tell her what really happened tonight." The gang member's eyes widened with fear. The gang member glanced between Georgina and Sophie, clearly terrified. Sophie's grip on his collar tightened threateningly. "Y-yes," he stammered. "The lady is right." "Are you being coerced?" Georgina asked desperately, needing to believe this was all some elaborate lie. 1/4 Chapter 0057 - The Truth Revealed +25 Bonus The gang member's eyes shifted between Georgina and Sophie for a long moment, clearly terrified.
