Chapter 0056 - Rescue Nathan gestured to one of the gang members. "Bring us your finest wine. Something special for the lady." The scarred man nodded immediately. "Of course. We've got an excellent vintage in the back. I'll bring it right out." He disappeared toward the bar and returned moments later with an ornate bottle and two crystal glasses. He poured the wine with exaggerated care, presenting the first glass to Georgina with a slight bow. "For you, miss. One of our best." Georgina accepted the glass hesitantly and took a sip.

It tasted far better than anything she'd had before, "It's very good," she said. "Only the best for you," Nathan said warmly, raising his own glass in a toast. "To new beginnings." They drank together, and Georgina felt the alcohol warm her from the inside. Nathan set down his glass and shrugged off his jacket, draping it over a nearby chair. Then, with casual confidence, he began unbuttoning his shirt. "It's warm in here," Nathan explained. "Do you mind?" Before Georgina could respond, he'd pulled off his shirt completely, revealing a sculpted torso.

He walked over to the pool table in the center of the bar, picking up a cue. "Care to watch?" Georgina found herself nodding, her eyes following the lines of his muscles as he moved. She took another sip of wine, then another. The scarred gang member appeared at her elbow, refilling her glass before she'd even noticed it was empty. "Thank you," Georgina murmured, her words slightly slurred. The wine kept flowing. Every time Georgina's glass approached empty, someone refilled it. Nathan continued playing pool while Georgina watched him, becoming infatuated with the display. Time became fluid.

Georgina wasn't sure how many glasses she'd had. The room started spinning slightly, and she gripped the edge of her chair to steady herself. Everything felt dizzy and disoriented. Her thoughts became sluggish, disconnected. Nathan looked up from the pool table and met her eyes. His expression became cold instantly. He set down the pool cue and walked over to the scarred gang leader, his voice dropping to a low murmur that Georgina couldn't quite hear through her alcohol-fogged mind. "Take care of her," Nathan said coldly. "Make sure it doesn't trace back to me.

No connections, no evidence." The gang members all acknowledged the order with subtle nods. Nathan pulled his shirt back on, buttoning it quickly. He picked up his jacket and walked toward the exit without 1/4 Chapter On Resid +25 Bonus a backward glance at Georgina, who sat slumped in her chair, barely conscious. The door closed behind Nathan Pierce, and the gang members' polite masks disappeared immediately. The scarred leader approached Georgina with a predatory smile. "Alright, boys. Let's get to work." They grabbed Georgina roughly, her head lolling as they dragged her to a back room.
