Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel - Chapter 3673

After waiting for a few hours, Barok and Digby discovered that the pirates still had no internal strife, showing no signs of starting a fight. On the contrary, the space pirates began to band together, seemingly preparing for a breakout. Unable to resist, Digby asked Barok, "If they don't fall for it, should we strike first to gain the upper hand?" Barok said, "If we don't intervene, they might still fall into internal strife. But if we do, they will surely be forced to unite and oppose us.

Let's prepare for battle and prevent them from breaking through. They won't be able to escape our encirclement. In the end, they'll surely surrender. At that time, those small and medium-sized pirate crews will fight for their lives against The Formidable Five, using the lives of The Formidable Five to beg us for mercy." Digby found it reasonable. And so, the two of them relayed their orders, each preparing their fleets for battle.

They were to ensure that not a single space pirate could escape Octurn. Not long after, the pirates then began their breakout battle. It turned out that although Toothless promised that his master would lead a large army there, Octaclaw, Rocky, Bluer, Solo, and the other pirates all felt that they couldn't pin their hopes on the master of Toothless. If the master of Toothless didn't arrive in time, and instead, the Gods' reinforcements did, then everyone would be out of luck.

Therefore, they must fight for their own chance of survival and achieve a breakthrough themselves. The pirates, piloting a variety of old spaceships, ascended one after another, eager to break through the encirclement formed by the Crimson Moon Fleet and Steel Wings. The battle ignited in an instant. Beams of laser crisscrossed incessantly in the sky above Octurn, the relentless sounds of explosions echoing in the air. The pirates had many spaceships, and their weapons had a wide variety.

However, when it came to technological prowess and power, they were far from matching the regular army of the Gods. From the very start of the battle, the pirates were already being relentlessly beaten by the Gods. Their spaceships exploded one after another. The pirates' weapons could only stir up tiny ripples on the energy shields of the Gods' spaceships, utterly incapable of breaching their defense.
