My Four Miraculous Treasures novel - Chapter 142

Florence had just been threatened by Willow about calling the police on her. She was in a foul mood. She cursed Willow in her heart, 'You were just lucky to be chosen by the developer to own a trial residence. The villa might collapse on your family one day. You're just someone's guinea pig. What is there to be proud of? How dare you threaten me!' Florence was going to meet Samantha to tell her what had happened but she was stopped by Tyson. She looked in the direction where Tyson was pointing.

It was Willow's villa. Florence exclaimed angrily, "Yes. Someone died five years ago and they had a grand funeral. It was for their daughter!" She glanced at the villa with disdain and left towards Samantha's house. Five years ago, Willow's family had held a funeral for the pig that died during the collapse. Florence was implying that Willow was a pig. She was a fertile pig and could bear many children. Florence just did what Willow told her to.

Willow had told her to tell Samantha that she was dead. If others asked about her, she would say the same. After Florence answered him, Tyson glanced towards Jasper. "Mr. Hughes, the villager said, a woman from Willow's family died five years ago. It should be Yvette." Samantha must have picked up the jade pendant! Otherwise, she wouldn't know that Willow was looking for it. Willow entered Smantha's house and she could hear Florence's loud voice.

"That Willow girl thought that her status was elevated because she had a villa now. She's just a guinea pig of the developers. Her villa will collapse one day and crush her family! How dare she threaten me with the police. She deserved to have a bad life! She rather believed the words of a four-year-old. She's no more than a fertile pig. Having four kids with an unknown man. She's such a disgrace to Nason Village!" Florence blurted whatever came to her mind to humiliate Willow.

Florence had told Samantha that Willow had already believed the jade pendant was the one she lost five years ago. However, Lilith found the date of manufacture when she looked at it and their lies were exposed. Lilith was attentive to the details. She had discovered something that the adults couldn't see. Could she be a genius? No way.
