Zach only returned to the Frank family after his eyes recovered. Right after he stepped through the door, his stepfather called him into the study. Soon, an argument exploded between them. Zach then pulled the door open, only to find Martha standing outside.

She looked at him with worry but still chose to walk into the study in the next second. Zach looked down and broke into a mocking sneer. He knew that Martha would never prioritize him, but he still hoped she would. As his heart was filled with disappointment, he remembered Yvonne. ---- No matter the situation, whether he was right or wrong, Yvonne would always side with him without hesitation. Unfortunately, he would never have her again. As he teared up, his phone vibrated.

He picked up the phone numbly, and Bella's near- hysterical voice just irritated him. However, Bella was great at catching his mood, and she soon calmed down. "Zach, where are you? Can I see you?" Zach had already returned to his and Yvonne's house at this point. He did not turn on the lights and hugged the pillow Yvonne would always hug as he placed his head gently on it. His nose brushed against it as he inhaled the scent from the pillow. The floor was covered in empty beer bottles.

As Zach stumbled into the bedroom, he suddenly tripped over something and fell. ---- Just as he was about to stand up, his gaze was drawn to the box he had tripped over. All of Zach's tipsiness disappeared. He scrambled over to pick up the phone beside the box. It was Yvonne's phone. To think that it would show up here!
