Alpha’s Rue: His Shunned Luna Novel - Chapter 166

Chapter 166 25 Bonus "The maid?" Rowan frowns, his disbelief accurate for the first time since he entered this kitchen. "Yes," I sigh, that jealousy seeping into my bones now. Before I know it, I'm wondering why not about me?" Audrey hit her maid, and Aeliana snapped." "See, I told you we needed cameras around the packhouse." He hisses. "Now I'll never get to see what your mate looks like when she loses her shit, and it's all everyone is talking about it out there." The image flashes into my mind. "Beautiful," I tell him, leaving out how unsettling her eyes were for a moment.

Rowan snickers, "You're so lovesick." I don't fight the accusation, it's true, and I'm very proud of it. "Damn straight I am, that girl has me in a chokehold. And now I have a lot of kissing up to do, because I touched Audrey's shoulders." I grumble. His face furrows with confusion, "What?" "Long story, but Audrey shouldn't have touched Lexie, I don't know what got into her, she's..." "She might have snapped now that Aeliana is officially a Luna, and Lexie was caught in it," Rowan says calmly." She's been handling your separation a bit too calmly, I've never had an ex that cool.

She was probably holding on to some hope, banking on your push and pull with Ellie. I mean, you've been together a long time, and now you're trying to be just friends with her, which can be why she's confused." "After today, I doubt she will be confused about anything at all." "Why so sure?" "Aeliana threatened-no, actually she promised to bust her head open if she ever calls me Babe again," I tell him, my cock twitching at the memory. I love it when she stands her ground, confidence is sexy on her. "It's the hottest thing I've seen all week." "What?" Rowan chokes out.

"Your fated mate threatens to crush your chosen mate's skull, and you get hard." "Don't put it that way," I frown. "You're making me sound like a freak, shut up. You weren't even there, what do you know?" "You didn't inform me!" He snaps, "I would have been there, but you forgot I was in the darn car outside." "Oh, forgive me, my first thought wasn't to summon you when my wife was fighting her subject." "I'm just saying, if that were Dani and..." he pauses looks over his shoulder. "Lily," he whispers his ex- girlfriend's name. "If it were them, I would have called you.

You owed me this." He groans, sounding genuinely appalled by my not calling him. "Owe you?" "Yes, I'm handling that little menace you brought here." Right. Noah Fren, the girl is a hazard to herself and whoever breathes in her direction. Last I heard of her, she assaulted a pupil in class for making a joke about her in a p**n setting. "What did she do now?" I sigh. "I have someone who can-" "Don't bother, she doesn't listen." He says with a defeated sigh. "The girl is an absolute terror, no one would last a day." 1/2 +25 Bonus I nod, "She's trouble." "But she's good people," he nods.
